The showcase: "How are you these day?" - Trần Quang Đại
For his first ever collection, Tran Quang Dai decided not to name the paintings. For it is not understanding that he is seeking, but feelings. Upon being asked “How Are You These Days?”, Quang Dai hopes that each of us can respond: I feel loved.
Apart from the artworks already displayed not long ago, this showcase features a number of special paintings curated exclusively for Toong’s coworking space. The exhibition makes use of red and blue - the artist’s least and most favorite colors - to deliver supremely personal remarks. All of the artworks were done during Saigon’s lockdown period.
“It always gets better”, Quang Dai shares. By painting during the worst of times, he hopes for the best to come, for all of us.
