Series event & exhibition "ELASTIC"
"Art fosters tolerance" is the message of the series event & exhibition "ELASTIC”, hosted in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by iSEE, Toong and GocLab within the last two months of 2020.
"ELASTIC” features more than 40 artworks of 13 artists, explicit the artists' perception of the permanent question "Does art foster tolerance in society?". That includes the emotionally overwhelming photos of Maika Elen, the immersively liberal, inspiring color pallet of Le Tuan Ry's artworks, or a glimpse of familiar nostalgia in Vu Bao Khanh’s photos.
No matter what you feel, no matter how you feel it, the exhibition proves one point: art adjust tolerance.
“ELASTIC” wishes to bring a multidimensional perspective about differences, about beauty in life through the kaleidoscope that is art. The events are among the series of programs to support social activities, as well as to help the audience to learn more about the influence of art on contemporary society.
The event takes place both in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
